Our center is a safe place for youth to interact with other teens, make Godly connections, play games, have fun, and relax.

Founders & Directors
Hello everyone! Tim, the President of Emberz Association & Michelle, the Secretary here to introduce ourselves and our board. We have been together for 21 years. We have four grown children and a little one who is autistic and a hand full but a blessing. Our kids have blessed us with nine grandchildren and still counting. We have made many mistakes in life but the one we feel like hindered our lives the most was not following the Lord Jesus Christ sooner.
This is the reason we have a vision for the Emberz Association and the teens in our community:
In 2016, we had an opportunity to work for Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in Boys Ranch, Texas which is about 36 miles from Amarillo, Texas. We were houseparent’s to 12-14 teenage boys in one home and we also floated from time-to-time which made us care for more than 100 teens while employed there. Although it may sound crazy, we enjoyed the challenges and experience this brought to our lives. After almost a year, we decided to come back to our home in East Texas to be with family.
Feeling the tug from God again, we started taking steps to get our license to be foster parents in 2022 and gave that a run for a bit but it hurt too much when they left.
Soon after God dealt with us to open something up for teens because the area needs a place for these teens to be in a safe environment and enjoy themselves.
The end of July 2025 we got the Emberz building and started the process to make it a place where the teens can be ministered to, hang-out in a safe environment, make some Christian connections, hear some good Christian music and play the games offered.
It is still a work in progress, and we haven’t gotten everything figured out yet, but we cannot wait to see what our God can do in these teens lives and every soul that walks into Emberz..

STATEMENT OF FAITH
THE GODHEAD
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, having the same nature, attributes, and perfections, and are worthy of the same homage and obedience. (Matthew 28:18-19; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; II Corinthians 12:12; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-6).
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the pre-existence, Incarnation, and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ who came into the world to reveal the Father and was the brightness of his glory and the express image of His person; that the Lord Jesus Christ was the Creator of all things, for by Him the worlds were made. We believe that He was very God and very Man, and I AM, the Jehovah of the Old Testament. We further believe in the sinless life of our Lord Jesus Christ, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily ascension into heaven, and His imminent return. We further believe that He is presently seated at the right hand of God the Father interceding for His redeemed. We also acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord over all things in heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth. (John 1:1-2; 1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 7:37-38; Philippians 2:9-10; Hebrews 7:25).
WORSHIP
We believe that the whole purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. Therefore, we believe in the act of worshipping God with one’s total being as set forth in the Holy Scriptures. We believe that God desires worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. (Psalm 150; Mark 12:29-31; John 4:23-24; Ephesians 5: 18-21).
